Founded in May of 2023, Nightshade Burlesque is an alternative Drag and Burlesque show in the heart of Fort Worth. Vee (they/them), the co-founder, was dedicated to producing a drag show for creatives who felt ousted by the industry and needed a safe place to feel supported and championed for their art. Cameron and I had the pleasure to attend their Brat show for performer and "stage kitten," Charlotte Rouge's birthday. Genuinely, all I can truly say is - WOW. This show feels like home. The love in that room was undeniable. My heart was so full to see how everyone showed up for each other.

It was also my first time getting to see my dear friend, Les Bone, perform for the first time! The talent in DFW is UNMATCHED!
